Length 4,67 m Width 1,85 m Height 2,18 m Apex height inside 2 m Net weight 1 174 kg Payload 226 kg GVM 1 400 kg Price R313 900 Plus The sliding bed is novel. The pop-up roof lifts and lowers easily. There are more than enough 220 V power sockets inside. You couldn’t ask for more packing space. The two roofs over the bed and kitchen are easy to pitch and take down. Minus The tent over the bed isn’t bug-proof all over. The roof is low and you can’t sit upright in bed. Only one light inside isn’t enough. It’s a hassle to disconnect the gas bottle every time you close the kitchen. You can’t read the fridge’s digital screen. go! Drive & Camp says The new Xcape is a huge improvement on the previous model, but even though the bed is a lot bigger, it might still be too cramped for some people. go! Drive & Camp borrowed the Jurgens Safari Xcape from the manufacturers.

?? ?? (*Since we test drove the Xcape, Jurgens Ci has made one or two changes. One of them is that the awning doesn’t have an apex – it’s now a flat roof.)
