It’s spring…

“When the pink and white blossoms of the pear, cherry, apricot, peach and plum trees starting adding colour to my orchard and, within days, all the trees are bedecked. All of Fouriesburg – as well as Mashaeng, the township against the ridge – boasts an abundance of blossoms. After the frosty winter and its winds blowing over the snow-covered Malutis, I can’t wait until it’s warm enough that I can get rid of the dead leaves of perennial plants such as agapanthus, cannas and daisies.
