Cement is cheap, yet durable and versatile. Once you’ve mastered the basic technique, you can get creative. Just remember that cement is caustic – wear gloves and even a dust mask when you work with it. (If you prefer to work with bare hands, rinse them off quickly and thoroughly after you’ve handled the cement.)
