Small is beautiful

We absolutely loved the second Say Cheese! boutique cheese festival, held on the last Saturday of September and the first day of October at the Italian Club in Cape Town – and we shopped like there was no tomorrow. There were too many highlights to mention, but some of Platteland’s most delicious discoveries are the caciotta cheese from Udderly Delicious in Darling, La Montanara’s halloumi and cream cheese, and Taaibosch’s assortment of goat’s-milk cheeses – minus that hectic ram-goat flavour – all the way from Heidelberg in the Western Cape. We’ll see you there in 2018.
