All ears

By August and September, the fields are densely covered by the wheat, as you can see here at John and Nikki Loxton’s farm, Vleidam. It’s now that the ears appear, much to the excitement of humans and animals alike. The Swartberg can be seen in the distance, with Koringberg just out of sight on the right.
