Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Shogun

-

Mitsubishi dealerships nationwide need to clear floor space for the new Triton and new Pajero Sport, which are on their way. As an incentive to accelerate the process, Mitsubishi SA asked a few of South Africa’s best known off-road specialists to put together a list of bespoke adventure gear for the limited edition Pajero Sport Shogun. The Shogun is fitted with Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tyres, heavy-duty front and rear shock absorbers from Tough Dog, custom-fitted underbody protection from Stofpad, an off-road snorkel, custom roof rack with a spotlight from Front Runner, and a detachable tow bar. The load area is lined with a rubber cargo protector for camping and adventure gear. Every new Shogun will be equipped with a Garmin GPS nüviCam device pre-loaded with popular overland routes and maps by Maps4Africa. These extras are worth over R70 000 and yet the Shogun’s retail price remains R514 900, the official retail price of the standard 2.5 Di-D 4x4 Auto. You essentially get R70 000 worth of overland equipment for free. An added benefit is that all the equipment is approved by Mitsubishi so you don’t run the risk of voiding your factory warranty.
