We travel over Prince Alfred’s Pass towards the western part of the Baviaanskloof, our home for the next two nights. Our route takes us through the small town of Uniondale. Day 5: Today we drive the length of the Baviaanskloof, stopping frequently to photograph this scenic conservation area. Keep an eye out for kudu and bushbuck. We sleep over in Cambria in the eastern part of the kloof. Day 6: Our destination today is Addo, and our route takes us over the Groot River and past Cockscomb – the second-highest mountain in the Eastern Cape. In Addo you have the opportunity to go on a night drive (for your own cost), but you can also visit the camp’s floodlit waterhole, for some game viewing. We enjoy our last supper around the fire.
