THE TOUR IN A NUTSHELL Day 1: We meet at Ulundi and drive to HluhluweiMfolozi Game Reserve. Day 2: We drive a 4x4 route that’s not open to the general public. Day 3: We visit the game capture complex at the Centenary Centre before heading towards the coast. We’ll spend two nights in St Lucia. Dinner that evening is served inside iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Guests will then be taken for a night drive in the park. Day 4: Enjoy some free time. Spend the day snorkelling at Cape Vidal, horse riding on the beach or visiting the unique crocodile centre. ( These activities are for your own account.) We regroup for a sundowner cruise on Lake St Lucia. Day 5: We take a scenic drive up the western shores of Lake St Lucia – our destination is a private game lodge on the boundary of Tembe Elephant Park. In the late afternoon we’ll drive to the beach where we’ll have dinner. Afterwards a guide will take us for a night walk to look for nesting turtles on the beach. Day 6: After breakfast, we’ll head to Kosi Mouth, South Africa’s most protected estuary to see one of the oldest fishing techniques. Swimming, snorkelling and a picnic lunch are also on the agenda. In the afternoon we’ll go on a game drive in Tembe Elephant Park. Day 7: After a morning game drive in Tembe we’ll travel to Ithala Game Reserve, our home for the next two nights. Day 8: We spend the day exploring Ithala. Bush walks can be arranged on request. Day 9: Today it’s time to say goodbye.
