Day 5: We take a scenic drive up the western shores of Lake St Lucia – our destination is a private game lodge on the boundary of Tembe Elephant Park. In the late afternoon we’ll drive to the beach where we’ll have dinner. Afterwards a guide will take us for a night walk to look for nesting turtles on the beach. Day 6: After breakfast, we’ll head to Kosi Mouth, South Africa’s most protected estuary to see one of the oldest fishing techniques. Swimming, snorkelling and a picnic lunch are also on the agenda. In the afternoon we’ll go on a game drive in Tembe Elephant Park. Day 7: After a morning game drive in Tembe we’ll travel to Ithala Game Reserve, our home for the next two nights.
