This is meant to be monitored by volunteers, but in practice nobody checks. If you’ve paid for an organised game drive in the park, you’ll be charged a conservation fee of R30 per person at the gate; same if you’re visiting one of the restaurants inside. Overnight visitors will get a ticket at the gate. Just tell the guard where you’re staying and you’ll be allowed to proceed.
