Spectacular wildflowers, all under one roof

If you’re in the Cederberg area this spring, go see the Clanwilliam Wild Flower Show, which is held annually at the Flower Church in the main road. Most flowers from the region are on display, and indoor lights ensure they stay open all day, even when it’s cloudy outside. This year, there will be a special focus on medicinal and edible plants – a theme that will be carried over into Clanwilliam’s restaurants. Each restaurant will endeavour to incorporate local edible plants (like rooibos) in their dishes. Dates and times: 25 August to 2 September; 8.30 am to 6 pm.
