Rhino spa

After a rather long day in the Pilanesberg National Park, we were sitting in a hide close to gate-closing time. I commented that it was strange that we hadn’t yet seen a rhino. The words were barely out of my mouth when this beautiful white rhino came for a drink. Then he had a mud bath. We’ve been going to game reserves for years, but this was the first time I’d seen such behaviour from a rhino. What a wonderful experience. IAN CUMMING, Rustenburg
