Dusk dogs

-

Hannes followed a pack of wild dogs back to their den at sunset, where they began to settle down for the night. He knew where the den was and had previously hidden a camera on a game path close by. “I used a slow shutter speed to convey movement and a gentle fill flash to light up the scene,” he says. “I triggered the camera using a remote shutter release while sitting safely in my vehicle.”

HOW? Nikon D600, 16 mm lens, shutter speed 2 seconds, aperture f16, ISO 3 200, with a flash.
