Impala at pace

-

Crossing waterways in the Okavango Delta can be very dangerous. In this shot, an impala ram leaps through a small channel, well aware that crocodiles are all around. “I used a slow shutter speed and panned my camera at the same pace as the bounding impala to give the viewer an idea of the speed at which it was moving,” Hannes says.

HOW? Nikon D3S, 200 – 400 mm lens, shutter speed 1/15 second, aperture f5.6, ISO 100.
