WHAT TO BRING • A vehicle with diff lock – a 4x2 with high ground clearance will do the trick (fuel and border fees are for your own account) • Drinks and snacks • Camping chairs • Your passport ADVENTURE ITINERARY DAY 1: The tour starts near Kamieskroo­n. We’ll explore the Skilpad section of the Namaqua National Park, famous for its daisies. We exit the park at the Soebatsfon­tein gate and drive to McDougall’s Bay via Koingnaas and Kleinzee. DAY 2: Today we explore Alexander Bay with its interestin­g history. We’ll also visit the lichen fields near the Orange River and overnight in McDougall’s Bay again. DAY 3: After breakfast we leave for the Richtersve­ld. We pass through the villages of Lekkersing, Eksteenfon­tein and Kuboes, and stay two nights at Sendelings­drift on the Orange River. DAY 4: We spend the day in the beautiful Richtersve­ld National Park. DAY 5: We cross the border into Namibia by pont over the Orange River and drive via the mining town of Rosh Pinah to Aus where we’ll look for the wild horses. DAY 6: It’s only 100 km to the deserted Kolmanskop, where a local guide takes us through this mining ghost town. After lunch we explore Lüderitz. DAY 7: You have the option to visit the Sperrgebie­t, Pomona and the impressive Bogenfels rock arch – at an additional cost. Or you can spend the day in Lüderitz. DAY 8: We leave the coast behind and drive inland towards the Fish River Canyon, stopping at the Hobas viewpoint to watch the sunset. DAY 9: After a few hours at Ai-Ais, we head to the Norotshama resort on the Orange River. DAY 10: After breakfast it’s time to say goodbye.
