SUPPORT THE K9 UNIT

The SANParks K9 unit is at the front line in the fight against rhino poaching. The dogs track poachers and sniff out illegal firearms, rhino horn and ivory. But it’s expensive to train and take care of the dogs – one dog costs R1 000 per month to feed and there are currently 60 in the Kruger Park alone. To help fund the unit, the Wesrand Honorary Rangers have established Project Dog Bowl. You can do your part to save the rhinos by making a donation.
