Art lovers to converge at exhibition
GRAAFF-REINET – The Imibala Gallery at the Drostdy Hotel in Graaffreinet’s Church Street this week extended an invitation to Graaff-reinet’s art lovers to attend the opening of their newest exhibition.
The exhibition, entitled ‘Wild’, will begin with an enjoyable function at the gallery on Friday evening, November 10, at 18:00, during which the works on display will be introduced to those in attendance.
The Imibala Gallery’s manager, Kim Imrie, said a wide range of artwork will be on show.
“There’s a lot of spectacular work,” Imrie said.
“Our guest speaker will be L’ormarins executive Johan Bouwer who will talk on “local wildlife conservation in perspective”, continued Imrie.
Bouwer was the winner of the 2017 Wildlife Ranching Eastern Cape conservation award, ‘Wildlife Rancher of the Year’.
Those wishing to attend are invited to RSVP to Imrie at 087 285 5810.
