Help identify this dead man please'

The body of an unknown man was found in Chapel Street on Monday 22 August.

Police spokesperson Captain Luvuyo Mjekula said it seemed that the person may have been staying in an abandoned building in town.

Mjekula said naming was a coloured man who appeared to be between the age of 35 and 40. Mjekula said the man was dressed in black trousers, black shoes and a brown jacket. “The Grahamstown South African Police Service is asking members of the community to assist in terms of identifying the deceased at the police station.

“Anyone who might know the deceased is requested to visit the police station or call 046 603 9152,” said Mjekula.
