For women writers

The National English Literary Museum (Nelm) is calling all interested women writers and arts practitioners to join hands and celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the 1956 Women’s march. Nelm wants to wrap up Women's Month from 5.30pm on 30 August with an event where women artists will showcase and entertain the audience.

They are calling on women poets to read or perform their poems related to women’s struggles; and short story or novel writers to read and discuss excerpts of their pieces. Storytellers, actors, musicians, film-makers and painters are invited to share the stage. Participation will be voluntary.
