Commission cancels sessions

The Broad-Based Black Economic Empowermen­t (B-BBEE) Commission instructed an organiser of two B-BBEE sessions scheduled for Gauteng and Cape Town to cancel the sessions with immediate effect. An entity of the Department of Trade and Industry, the B-BBEE Commission instructed the Net Value Holdings to cancel the sessions planned for 22 September in Johannesbu­rg and 6 October in Cape Town.

“The B-BBEE Commission condemns any awareness sessions that encourage fronting practices,” it said. – SAnews.gov.za
