Impressed at quick response from Makana Electricity
I am impressed with the service I received from the Makana Electricity Department. My pre-paid meter was giving problems. I phoned the Electricity Department on a Friday afternoon and after one ring my call was answered. I explained the nature of the problem and was told that the stand-by electrician would attend to it.
I was asked whether 5pm that evening would be convenient. True to his word, an efficient electrician arrived and advised that the meter required “upgrading” to manage the extra demand. I phoned the Electricity Department again the following week and was advised that I should go to the Finance Depart- ment, complete a form, make the required nominal payment and phone the Electricity Department when I had done so. I did as I was told. Upon advising the Electricity Department that the paperwork had been completed, an arrangement was made to collect it and for the electrician to attend to the upgrade at 2pm.
Once again the electrician appeared on time and the problem has been solved. That is what I call efficiency! Many thanks to Mrs Ntontela and her team.
