BMW to inject R400m into local operations
BMW Group South Africa announced on Wednesday that R400m will be invested into a new regional distribution centre and expansion of their Midrand headquarters over the next two years.
The investment adds to a R6 billion injection back in November 2015, a sum earmarked for the company’s Rosslyn plant, which is to produce the next generation of X3 models. “As a global business, we stay ahead of the trends and deliver superior products and services,” said CEO Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, Tim Abbot. “By investing in the training and development of our staff we also contribute to the upliftment of South Africa.”
