Body weight training equipment for Albany field

-

The Albany Sports Club would like to incorporate bodyweight exercise training into its club activities, and the Committee has allocated a corner of the top field for bodyweight exercise structures.

The structures will be built from gum poles as well as concrete and steel bars (see images). A range of pulling and pushing exercises can be done on these structures, which can be complemented by running around the fields. The Albany fields have a resident security guard and the structures will be kept safe.

The Club is looking for sponsorship for the materials to build two exercise stations. The donor’s business logo will be displayed on a sign board attached to the exercise stations, which will provide good advertising for the sponsor as lots of dog walkers, runners and club members use the fields. Each structure (inset) costs about R600, which includes gum poles, concrete, sand, stones, steel bars and a board (containing the donor’s logo).

If you are willing to contribute towards this project please contact me at hotmail.com. Any volunteers who are interested in bodyweight exercise and would like to help put the structures in place please let me know too.
