A BATHROOM WITH ATTITUDE
Like the rest of the house, the original bathroom was also painted an unimaginative white with the distinctive yellow skirtings and window frames. On the plus side, it featured checkerboard tiles and a lovely old bathtub. “We just added a little rock ’n roll, Pulp
Fiction and Rocky Horror!” says Lizé-marie. The door was painted black and white with Dulux Gloss Enamel. Lizé-marie restored the bath with Rust-oleum’s Bath Restore Kit which quickly got rid of the chips and scratches on the inside.
“Red is representative of the Rocky Horror and Pulp Fiction theme – we firmly believe there should always be a splash of red in every room in the house,” says Lizé-marie. >>
