Tips for the budding painter
• “Don’t be afraid to experiment,” says Michelle-lize. “Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Don’t be too hard on yourself!” • Regular PVA paint is easy to use on walls and it dries quickly. • Start by painting a smaller wall while you’re in the process of working out what you like. • Paint floors at night when it won’t interfere with daily life. • Use a colour, theme or specific type of object such as a flower to either distinguish between different rooms or blend them together.
