2 Top marks

A plain wooden tabletop was transformed using stencils and Annie Sloan paint in a variety of complementary colours. The entire top was first painted with a mix of Napoleonic Blue and Graphite. The edges of the table were stencilled to create a pretty border before various patterns were used in the middle of the table and in different colours for a textured effect. The tabletop was then sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax. The following colours were used (from the outside in): English Yellow, Old Violet, Emperor’s Silk, Pure and Florence.
