Start with... the whitewashed bricks
1 Soak a cloth in water, squeeze it out and keep it on hand while you work. Using the 50mm brush, apply Sherif’s Stone here and there on small areas of the unplastered wall; wipe off any excess paint with the damp cloth. This helps to dilute the paint and spread it over the bricks. If the wall is very porous, the cloth must be wetter – this will make it easier to spread the paint on the wall.
2 Repeat the same process; this time with Don’s Wash, which you now ‘wash’ over the Sherif’s Stone.
3 To finish, apply Steffan on the whitewashed surface – follow the dry-brush technique ( see box above) for this step.
