SNOW WHITE – THE BALLET, JOHANNESBURG

Joburg Ballet welcomes summer with a sparkling new classical ballet when the world première of Snow White – The Ballet takes centre stage at the Joburg Theatre on 13th October. The opening night will be followed by a run of nine further performances through to 22nd October. Inspired by the classic fairy tale of a girl whose beauty drives an evil queen to vengeful acts, artistic director Iain MacDonald has choreographed a lyrical new full-length work for the entire Joburg Ballet company, with a score by the great Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich.
