SpanAfrica Steel Structures
SpanAfrica Steel Structures (Pty) Ltd has been designing, manufacturing and installing steel structures for more than 20 years. They are an owner-managed business, with a hands-on management style.
Their in-house manufacturing facilities and trained and experienced staff facilitate the accurate production of buildings in accordance with design specifications. Each project is managed, from the conceptual stage through to completion, by a single project manager. This allows for clear communication with clients and ensures that client expectations are met.
The project manager’s experience, together with support from technical and production teams, enables SpanAfrica to find innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients’ requirements. The tried and tested underlying procedures by which their business is conducted, and a high regard for safety and quality control, collaborate to produce a product of the highest standard. They work with their clients either as full project management partners or with their clients’ existing professional teams of architects and engineers.
SpanAfrica supplies to multiple sectors, including:

mini factory/industrial parks.
• Commercial: Wholesale shops, retail
shops and shopping centres.
• Agriculture: Dairy, poultry, pork and
horticulture.

SpanAfrica actively trades throughout South Africa, and also exports throughout Southern Africa right up to Sudan. Buildings are designed to suit the weather and climate requirements of the destination country, and tailored to suit the specific needs and instructions of their respective clients. Their export teams are specialized in the logistics of exporting buildings.
Based on individual client requirements, buildings exported from South Africa can be erected on site. SpanAfrica crews have been dispatched as far as Burkina Faso and Madagascar. Alternatively, should clients have the resources to erect the steel buildings themselves, detailed plans are sent with the structure to enable them to do so.
