I’m a humble guy, and usually funny once you get to know me. I’m also a House music DJ in my spare time and am all about making people dance.

What is your favourite part of your job?

Meeting new people from different parts of the world and hearing their stories.

What do you find most challenging about your job?

Being on standby.

What do you like about working for SA Express?

The flexible working hours we have and the colleagues I work with – they really make coming to work so easy.

What would people find surprising about your job?

I’ve had people asking me: “How’s the jet lag?” But we never get jet lagged.

Have you ever had any funny incidents or encounters on-board?

Yes, when I was making an announcement I accidentally told passengers who were on a Bloemfontein flight that the flight was going to Richards Bay. Everyone started to panic thinking that they were on the wrong flight. Luckily it was 1stApril so everyone thought it was an April fool’s joke!
