Dear SA Express,
Living in the Eastern Cape, our options for travel to certain destinations are pretty limited. Over the past six years I have had the opportunity to travel to Durban from Port Elizabeth on numerous occasions, always making use of SA Express. I have always found the staff very friendly and responsive to requests.
Last Thursday my wife and I travelled to Durban on SA1337. We were sitting in the lounge and somehow didn’t hear the boarding call. We eventually saw people walking to the plane and grabbed our hand-luggage for a quick run to the gate – and forgot my cellphone in the lounge as I was doing so. It was only when we were seated on the plane that I realised my mistake.
I immediately approached the flight attendant and the pilot communicated with the people on the ground straight away. Without any hassles and a friendly smile I received my phone back before we pushed back to leave – only two minutes late.
Thanks for the very professional way your staff deals with situations like this and thanks to the passengers on SA1337 for their understanding. You made my day.
