If you are looking for something mouthwateringly romantic in Johannesburg this Valentine’s Day, Social Kitchen & Bar’s head chef, Yohann Saumande, has put together a limited-edition, seven-course Valentine’s Day menu, inspired by some of the most romantic novels of all time. The Age of Innocence (Namibian oyster in a sphere of gazpacho consommé), Pride & Prejudice (finely sliced duck breast carpaccio), Gone with the Wind (sealed scallops, chestnut purée and Brussel sprouts), and The Scarlet Letter (pistachio nougat parfait, raspberry sorbet, chocolate sauce and almond dentelle) are just a few of the courses you can look forward to while you stare starry-eyed across the table at your significant other.
