Lubuyile uzinzo eMUT emuva kwezingqinamba ebezikhona

ABAPHATHI beMangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) batshele amalungu ephalamende ukuthi bacishe bashiya phansi kule nyuvesi ngenxa yezingqinamba abebebhekene nazo.

USolwazi Marcus Ramogale onguVice Chancellor osabambile uthe besisibi isimo eMUT ngonyaka odlule futhi ubebona sengathi izovalwa kodwa akwenzekanga lokho.

“Isimo sibe nzima ngesikhathi sesibamba ezinye izikhundla ngoba asikutholanga ukwesekwa ngumkhandlu obhekele iMUT. Abantu bebefuna ukushiya ngenxa yokuthi bebengakwazi ukwenza umsebenzi ngaphandle kokwesekwa ngumkhandlu,” kusho uRamogale.

Uveze ukuthi ziningi izikhala ezingakagcwaliswa zezikhulu eziphezulu kwazise ezinye zihlatshiswe ikhefu eliyisipesheli ngoba ziphenywa.

“Abantu ababemisiwe ngenxa yamacala athile sebeyishiyile inyuvesi. Ngisho uVice Chancellor wakuqala wasishiya. Abasebenzi abanawo umdlandla kodwa sikwazile ukuletha uzinzo,” kusho uRamogale.

“Sinezinhlelo zokuqinisekisa ukuthi kunozinzo futhi nabasebenzi babuyelwa yithemba. Singasho sithi isimo sibuyele kwesijwayelekile yize kusenezikhala ezingakagcwaliswa,” kusho uRamogale.

UMqondisi Jikelele woMnyango weMfundo ePhakeme, uDkt Gwebinkundla Qonde uthe bayazeseka zonke izikhungo zemfundo ephakeme ngoba abafuni ukuthi kuphazamiseke abafundi.

“Esikubonayo wukuthi ubuholi obuphethe eMUT njengamanje benza umsebenzi okahle futhi bulethe uzinzo kuleya nyuvesi ngoba isimo sesibuyele kwesijwayelekile,” kusho uQonde. Kulindeleke ukuthi uNzimande aqoke izikhulu ezintathu ezizosebenza ngokugcwele eMUT aqoke noSihlalo womkhandlu olawula le nyuvesi maduze.
