KwaShoprite Group nakhona bathe bazoqhubeka nokwamukela ukudla okuthengwe kubo.
Esitatimendeni bathe yize inyama egayiwe yakwaRainbow nakwa-Enterprise ikhishiwe emashalofini kodwa inyama egayiwe abazenzela yona ebizwa ngeRitebrand, Housebrand neFarmer’s Deli ayithinteki ngoba yenziwa enye inkampani engenalo igciwane.
KwaWoolworths bathe amakhasimende abuyise yonke inyama egayiwe bayisho ngamagama. Amagama ayo asekhasini labo leFacebook neleTwitter.
UMnuz Trevor Hattingh, obhekele ezokuxhumana kwiNational Consumer Commission, uthe izitolo ezidayisa inyama egayiwe kufanele zize nohlelo lokulahla imikhiqizo ebuyiswayo ukuze kuphephe abantu.
Uthe okwamanje abakaxoxi ukuthi izinkampani ezithintekayo zizohlawula malini kodwa bazoluxoxa lolu daba kungakapheli isonto.
“Okwamanje ukususwa kwempahla enegciwane yikona okuhamba phambili. Sizoziqapha izinhlelo zokubuyiswa nokulahlwa kokudla ukuze kuphephe abantu. Eyenhlawulo nokujeziswa kwezinkampani ezithintekayo sinethemba lokuthi izoxoxwa lingakapheli isonto,” kusho uHattingh.
