Amajita stars Phakamani Mahlambi and Luther Singh were both called up to the senior national team following a good showing for the national Under-20 side in Zambia. This has served as motivation for 18-year-old Margeman, who feels his chance could also be on the horizon if he remains consistent and effective. “It gives me motivation, as we’re the same age, which means that there’s belief in youngsters to be given an opportunity to play for the senior national team,” he says. “So for me it’s about working hard, staying humble and giving my best at Ajax, so should a future call-up come, I’ll be ready to go.”
