CHASING DEARNALEY’S RECORD

Retired forward George Dearnaley remains the man to score the most goals in a single season for AmaZulu after slamming 23 across all competitions 1992, and based on recent trends his record appears likely to stay in place for years to come.

He finished as the league’s top scorer that year with 20 and added another three in the cup competitions.

Through the PSL era, Usuthu have had their top scorer getting into double figures in all competitions on eight occasions.
