‘Hond’ remains contracted at Kaizer Chiefs – the only club that he has played for since returning from Europe nine years ago. During the 2010 World Cup he was a Dutch champion with FC Twente but with game time not coming as much as he would have wanted, he then moved on loan to Greek club Panserraikos in January 2011. Six months later he was back home, signing for Kaizer Chiefs. He has gone on to enjoy considerable success with the club and was even the league’s top scorer six years ago. At 34 he is amongst the senior players at the club where his experience of playing in Serbia, Holland, Greece and in the Europa League comes into good use. Went all the way to 72 caps
