‘I BELIEVED HE WOULD MAKE IT’

-

Former Real Rovers, Ria Stars, Kaizer Chiefs and Dynamos striker Sydney Moshikaro coached Keletso Makgalwa at Dynasty FC, a Castle League from SAFA Waterberg region. “I coached him for a year after he was brought in straight to the first team at the age of 15 because we could see that he is talented,” Moshikaro.

“It is unusual for a 15-year-old, but I liked him and he was a special talent.

As a young boy he was very good, be it the skill, pace, and close control under pressure. He was always like that.

“I have a feeling of pride about how far he has gone and even before he went to Sundowns I was always trying to take him to other teams. I remember sending him to a team in Seshego which was owned by Ria’s [Ledwaba] son Harry and named Great North. They played in the ABC Motsepe League. “The day he went there I met him in town and gave him money to go and trial in Seshego but unfortunately he came back without being signed. I always believed that he will make it,” says Moshikaro.
