• Coach Lehlohonolo Seema makes the switch from Bloemfontein Celtic to Chippa United. Celtic appoint John Maduka, who had acted as co-coach with Seema, to lead the team.
• Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman Irvin Khoza says they hope to conclude the 2019/20 season by August 31, a deadline they set with FIFA.
• The PSL officially rubberstamp the sale of Bidvest Wits’ top-flight status to second-tier Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila, who will relocate the club to Thohoyandou.
• Rhulani Mokwena returns to Mamelodi Sundowns as assistant coach to Pitso Mosimane, some three years after he left for Orlando Pirates.
• Former Baroka FC star Khunadi Nkoana passes away after being hospitalised with stomach pain. He was 28 and part of the third-tier Bakgaga side that famously defeated Kaizer
Chiefs in the 2011 Nedbank Cup quarterfinals.
• Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane reveals he has been using the lockdown to study towards his CAF Pro License.
• Lamontville Golden Arrows part ways with experienced duo Musa Bilankulu and Danny Venter.
• SuperSport United confirm that midfielders Thabo Qalinge and Thabo Mnyamane have left the club at the end of June, with goalkeepers Thakasani Mbanjwa and Thato Lesoma also released.
• Royal Eagles coach Phuthi Mohafe quits his job due to what he calls unprofessionalism at the bottom side in the GladAfrica Championship.
• Maritzburg United part ways with stalwart defender Siyanda Xulu, as well as midfielder Justice Figuareido and Deolin Mekoa, who is on loan at Ajax Cape Town for the remainder of the season.
