Substitutes

-

Myron Sifakis

Great Greek goalkeeper that we had at OFI Crete and was the hero when the club won the cup. He was also my assistant at OFI Crete.

Grigorios Tsinos

He was a Greek international that was with me at OFI Crete. He had played for Roda in Holland and then for Panathinaikos, and I played with him for five years at OFI Crete when the club enjoyed its best years. He was technically unbelievable, very calm with the ball when starting moves from the back and was one of the best players that I ever played with.

Alejandro Hisis Anaya

He was a Chilean international that I played with at OFI and probably the best number six that ever played in Greece. So, in being a six he was tough and typical Latin American in being stubbornly proud in the way he plays. He was a tough guy in the model of Gilberto Silva or Dunga. Very good with the ball and the kind of player that every back four wants in front of them because he could protect and play.

Nikos Machlas

This man remains celebrated in Greece for scoring the goal that took the country to the 1994 World Cup when he was only 20. I played with him at OFI Crete and he was a typical number nine who had goals aplenty in his game. He went on to Vitesse, Ajax Amsterdam and Seville until he ended his career in Cyprus. There were always goals in him.

Scott Sellars

He was the left winger at Newcastle, and I competed with him in that position, and I have to admit he was a good player because he played simple and had a good delivery in him.

Malcolm Allen

He was Welsh and came to Newcastle from Millwall, making a huge difference in his first year playing upfront as a pressing striker who never stopped running. He was aggressive.

COACH Kevin Keegan

He was my coach at Newcastle and is a legend of this game having played for Liverpool in their dominant years and was even winner of the Ballon d’Or. As a coach he always made a difference at all his clubs.
