WEEK JUNE 22 TO JUNE 28 - PROPERTY RELATED CRIMES TOWN AREA

THEFT - MAIN STR (Thurs 22 June @ 13h59) - Allsound Guards reported that 2 juveniles stole chocolates and store and ate them while still in the store. SAPS and the parents were contacted. Items were paid for and the juveniles were released.

THEFT - LONG STR (Fri 23 June @ 19h19) Witness reported seeing people removing items from premises. Allsound Officers responded and apprehende­d 2 suspects in possession of stolen goods. Suspects were handed over to SAPS and a case of theft was opened.

BURGLARY - LONG STR (Sat 24 June @ 07h13) - Client report a break-in. Door was forced out and cash register taken. SAPS were informed and case was opened.

THEFT - MAIN STR (Sat 24 June @ 12h36) Client activated the panic after 2 suspects tried to steal cellphone from desk. No case was opened and suspects were released. It was later confirmed that approximat­ely half an hour earlier, the same 2 were caught on CCTV footage stealing a cellphone from another business in Main Road. Case was opened by the owner and under investigat­ion.

THEFT - MAIN STR (Sun 25 June @ 01h04) Clients phoned for assistance after a patrons car keys were stolen. CCTV footage was reviewed and suspect identified. Informatio­n was handed over to SAPS. No case opened at the time.

THEFT - RAWSON STR (Sun 25 June @ 08h18) - Client called to report that stolen items were found hidden in a rubbish bin. It was suspected that an employee has hidden them there. Client declined to open a case, goods were returned. THEFT - LONG STR (Tues 27 June @ 15h25) - Witness phoned in to report that a wallet was stolen from shoppers boot. Suspect was an illegal parking attendant who took the wallet while “helping” to load groceries in boot. Matter was reported to centre management to review footage.

BURGLARY - WATERFRONT DR (Tues 27 June @ 21h00) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed positive break-in, side door was forced open. Nothing visibly missing. SAPS were on site and case opened.

THEFT - CIRCULAR DR (Thurs 22 June @ 08h41) - Client reported a suspicious person carrying a bag filled with items. Allsound Officers searched the bag and found it full of copper pipes. Suspect was handed over to SAPS for possible theft from fire damaged sites.

THEFT - LLOYD STR (Tues 27 June @ 15h30) - Client reported seeing suspects running from a property. Officers responded and confirmed roof sheets were stolen but recovered. No case was opened.

WELBEDACHT / EASTFORDS

THEFT - WELBEDACHT RD (Mon 26 June @ 09h19) - Client requested assistance after suspect found stealing copper pipes. Suspect was handed over to SAPS with bag full of stolen copper. Case was opened.

OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA

BURGLARY - HOLIDAY CRES (Sat 24 June @ 06h07) - Client phoned to report a break-in. Small cottage window was broken and items were pulled through from shelf against window. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.

THEFT - BOKMAKIERI­E STR (Mon 26 June @ 11h42) - Client phoned our control room to report theft. Fence had been cut and 8 plastic chairs were stolen. Time of incident unknown, no case was opened.

THEFT - SALIE STR (Mon 26 June @ 15h41) - Client reported that his hose pipe was stolen from yard. No need for Response or case to opened.

BURGLARY - ELM STR (Tues 27 June @ 17h00) - Resident reported a break-in at his garage. Scooter, tools and weed eater stolen. SAPS were notified.

INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

BURGLARY - HADEDA STR (Thurs 22 June @ 06h01) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found security gate and door forced open. Owner confirmed nothing missing from premises.

THEFT - INDUSTRIA DR (Fri 23 June @ 09h03) - Client reported that a battery and diesel were stolen from the yard some time during the night. Unknown if case would be opened.

BURGLARY - CONCORDIA RD (Wed 28 June @ 18h21) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed break-in at school. Keyholder was unable to confirm if anything missing. No case opened at the time.

BURGLARY - VIGILANCE DR (Tues 27 June @ 13h45) - Keyholder requested assistance after they found suspect inside the building. Suspect was handed over to SAPS and charged.

FISHER HAVEN / HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD

THEFT - HOWARD STR (Wed 28 June @ 11h20) - Client reported that copper pipes were stolen from the outside of the building some time during the day. No case was opened.

BRENTON ON SEA / LAKE BRENTONBUR­GLARY

- WATSONIA STR (Fri 23 June @ 11h52) - Client reported a break-in at the flat on property. Window was forced open, tenants confirmed nothing missing. No case opened.

BURGLARY - STRYDOM STR (Sat 24 June @ 02h15) - Allsound Guard disturbed suspect stealing items from garage. Items were dropped when suspect fled, a bottle of alcohol was reportedly missing. No case opened. Area was searched but no one found.

THEFT - UITSICHT (Sat 24 June @ 08h16) Resident reported finding 4 solar panels hidden in bushes. Officers traced the items to a property at Uitsicht. Owner confirmed they had been stolen, time unknown. Case of theft was opened.

BURGLARY - WATSONIA STR (Sun 25 June @ 15h13) - Officer responded to alarm and found forcemarks on open window and door unlocked. Keyholder was on site, confirmed only alcohol visibly missing. No case opened.

BURGLARY - WATSONIA STR (Sun 25 June @ 16h36) - Keyholder reported a break-in at the house, 2 doors were found forced open. Nothing appeared missing from the property, no case opened.

RHEENENDAL

BURGLARY - RHEENENDAL RD (Thurs 22 June @ 23h45) - Members of SAPS reported finding suspect in possession of stolen goods. Allsound contacted Client believed to be the owner. Client confirmed that items were stolen from a storeroom. Suspect was arrested and charged by SAPS.
