PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS: TOWN AREA

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY TROTTER ST (Thurs 12 April @ 23h41) – Officer responded to panic alarm. Resident reported intruder tried to get through window but fled when owner shouted. No entry was gained, no case opened. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - GRAY ST (Fri 13 April @ 02h20) – Resident telephoned to report someone climbing through the perimeter fence. Officer responded and apprehende­d suspect. Tenant of flat confirmed suspect had tried to open the door before stealing items from the deck and fleeing. Suspect was handed over to SAPS and charged. THEFT - THESEN HARBOUR TOWN, LONG ST (Sat 14 April @ 09h47) - Client phoned our Control Room to report that a handbag was stolen from outside display area during the course of the previous day. No informatio­n on time or suspect available.

THEFT - NELSON ST (Wed 18 April @ 02h48) - Resident stopped our Response Officer to report that a suspect entered their flat via open door and stole 2 cellphones. Clothing descriptio­n was supplied and area was searched. No arrests at the time, case was opened.

KNYSNA HEIGHTS/ PARADISE / HEUWELKRUI­N

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY CIRCULAR DR (Fri 13 April @ 04h00) - Client reported an attempted break-in. Suspect tried to force open a door at guest room. No access gained. Case was opened. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY TEMPLEMAN DR (Fri 13 April @ 08h51) - Client reported an attempted break-in at their garage. Padlock was forced open but no entry was gained. No case was opened.

THEFT - RIO RD (Mon 16 April @ 07h55) - Client reported that a large section of fencing was stolen sometime during weekend. No case was opened. BURGLARY - TEMPLEMAN DR (Mon 16 April @ 19h59) - Client reported that power tools were stolen from her garage sometime during the night. No case was opened.

THEFT OUT M.V. - GREENHILL LANE (Wed 18 April @ 04h00) - Client notified our control room of a motor vehicle break-in. A black backpack was reported missing. SAPS were notified. BURGLARY - WATSONIA DR (Wed 18 April @ 07h58) - Client reported that they had a break-in during the night. A gas bottle and 2-Plate stove were missing. SAPS were notified.

OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA

THEFT OUT M.V. - HERONS WAY (Fri 13 April @ 00h59) - Client phoned to report that 2 suspect just broke into parked vehicle. Allsound Officers responded and apprehende­d both suspects. A case was opened and suspects were handed over to SAPS.

BURGLARY AND THEFT OF VEHICLE - HOLIDAY CRESC (Fri 13 April @ 12h20) - Gentleman reported a break-in at friends property after sliding door was removed. A laptop, hard drive, power bank, watch and drill were reportedly missing. Suspect also stole the residents vehicle which was later recovered by SAPS. Case was opened. BURGLARY - OLD TOLL RD (Tues 17 April @ 13h10) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed break-in at premises. Glass pane was removed from window frame. Owner was on site but could not see anything visibly missing. Client declined to open a case at the time.

INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

THEFT - FECHTER ST (Mon 16 April @ 10h16) – Client reported that 2 x Truck batteries and diesel were stolen from vehicles parked in the yard. Time of incident was unknown.

LEISURE ISLAND

THEFT - LINKS DR (Fri 13 April @ 18h45) - Resident reported that an aluminium ladder was stolen from their property sometime during the day. No informatio­n available to identify suspect. No case was opened.
