Selenium is important for thyroid function, immunity and as a cancer preventati­ve nutrient. Selenium is a mineral which, due to poor farming methods, has become very thin on the ground (no pun intended) when it comes to our food supply. We need to make sure we get enough each day, which is around 100-200mcg. If you have dandruff, you may be short of selenium and essential fats, so this should help with that problem too.

FOOD SOURCES INCLUDE:

• Tuna and cod, prawns, clams, oysters, etc.

• Seafood in general

• Chicken, turkey

• Brazil nuts

• Liver

• Garlic You can also take selenium tablets.
