o Green Worx sustainability means adding value i n the economic, environmental, and social spheres,” says John Coetzee, founder of Green Worx and owner of Managed Care Economical Solutions. “This triple bottom-line approach has been adopted since Green Worx was founded in 2013. Today, our long-term targets are set to fulfil our stated purpose of finding biological answers for better lives in growing South Africa.”

Offering an innovative portfolio of biodegradable, environmentally safe, bio-enzyme (chemical free) cleaning, odour control and biodegradation products to janitorial services, wastewater treatment, retail and consumers, Green Worx is pioneering the use of innovative, ready-to-use, superior bio-enzyme cleaning products to numerous markets in South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Working with specially selected bacteria and natural enzymes to break down dirt and grease into organic nutrients which are then released safely back into the environment, Green Worx’s portfolio of cleaning products ensure that harmful chemical compounds are not released into the atmosphere or water systems. Additionally, workers are not exposed to toxic fumes and chemicals, thereby increas- ing safety and productivity while reducing staff absenteeism. And the more regularly the Green Worx products are used, the more effective they become!

Green Worx believes that a transition towards a bio-based economy that relies on renewable biological resources can assist us in becoming more resource efficient and mitigate climate change. Its biosolutions typically offer customers reduced CO2 emissions and lower energy, water, raw material and chemical consumption compared to conventional technologies.

“Our solutions enable low-temperature washing, energy-efficient production, renewable fuel and many other benefits that we rely on today and [may] in the future,” says Coetzee. “We call it Cleaner Greener Smarter.”
