After its premiere at the National Arts Festival earlier this month, Standard Bank Young Artist Monageng “Vice” Motshabi’s play is coming to Johannesburg. Xhoi — a young man who lives in Pelodikgadile, a futuristic land where the memory of colonialism, violence and brutality is forbidden — traverses this world as a sleepwalker until he reaches a state in which he starts to remember why the citizens are like zombies.
