Motor show coming to Pietermaritzburg

Calling all car enthusiasts! Liberty Midlands Mall in Pietermaritzburg is proud to announce its signature Motor Show, taking place from 29 – 31 October 2021. Featuring a car exhibition, wicked karting time trials as well as the Ultimate Show and Shine. Entrance is free to spectators and the event promises a roaring time for petrol heads of all ages.

The exhibit includes vehicles ranging from high performance cars, stance cars with modified suspensions, snazzy bakkies and SUV’s, classic cars, as well as some of the latest high-end technology and sound set-ups. Younger car enthusiasts can look forward to viewing the kids’ cars on display, an exhibit from the Mini Car Club as well as dodgem cars at Funtubbles, a 3D/4D simulator at Joyland and virtual car racing that will take place inside the Food Court.

The highlight of the show is the Ultimate Show and Shine, in which many cars are expected to compete for coveted trophies and the top three places in their class.

“Whether you enjoy the sound of roaring engines, pimped out rides or simply the thrill of viewing high performance and other cars, the car show at Midlands Mall is where you need to be this weekend” said Desmond Heunis, General Manager Liberty Midlands Mall. “We are thrilled to be hosting a car show of this nature in Pietermaritzburg, which will hopefully be the start of more to come” he added.

The Ultimate Show and Shine kicks off at 08h00 on Sunday 31 October. Entrance is free to spectators and may be limited at certain peak times in line with Covid-19 regulations.
