Accolades for young fighters
A group of young fighters from the Tiger Kai training academy participated in the internationally sanctioned Destiny tournament last weekend in Cape Town. The SA tournament also serves as the qualifier for the world championship. At last weekend's tournament, was attended by more than
1 000 people.
The fighters results are as follows: Lian la Cock - 3rd place in continuous light contact; Arend de Waal - 3rd place in grappling; Wilhelm Kuun - 2nd in MMA light; Rocco Calitz - 3rd place points fighting and 2nd MMA light, and Sharl Oosthuizen - 2nd place jiu jitsu, 3rd place sport full contact and 3rd place MMA sport full contact.
Marco van Staden put up a brave fight in a very tough division.
