Important IDP meetings taking place

The Mossel Bay Municipali­ty has embarked on a programme to meet residents over the next two weeks to discuss the municipal draft IDP Review and the draft budget for the 2018/19 financial year.

The first meetings were conducted this week in KwaNonqaba, Reebok, Boggomsbaa­i, the Mossel Bay Indoor Sport Centre, Dana Bay and at Imekhaya Primary School.

Next week's meetings will be at 19:00 at the Hartenbos Library and Denneprag Primary School Hall on Monday, 16 April; on Tuesday, 17 April at the Sonskynval­lei community hall and at the Brandwag community call; on Wednesday, 18 April at the Great Brak River council chamber, Brandwag community hall and at the Lutheran Church hall. On Thursday, 19 April, the meeting at the D'Almeida community hall concludes that week's meetings.

On Monday, 23 April, a meeting will be at 18:00 in the Joe Slovo community hall and one at 19:00 at the Friemershe­im community hall. On Tuesday, 24 April at 19:00 a meeting will be held at the Herbertsda­le church hall, and another at 18:00 at the KwaNonqaba community hall for the residents of ward 2. On Thursday, 26 April residents of wards 6 and 8 will meet at the Mossel Bay town hall at 18:00.

On 26 April, meetings will be at the Nativity Church Hall and the Asla Park Church hall, both at 18:00.

On Wednesday, 2 May residents of wards 2 and 3 are invited to meet at 18:00 at the African Gospel Church hall, with the final meetings being conducted on Thursday, 3 May, both at 19:00, at the Greenhaven community hall and the Little Brak community hall.
