Appeal for sponsorship and prizes

-

The Ulysses Motorcycle Club Garden Route chapter (UGR) will be hosting the 14th annual Whale Rally from 15 to 17 June at the ATKV Caravan Park in Hartenbos.

Attendees come from all over South Africa and from abroad. The Garden Route chapter of the club is affiliated to Ulysses South Africa as well as Ulysses International and is a registered charity.

The Whale Rally is the club's principle source of funding for the various charities it actively supports each year, ranging from orphanages and remedial centres for children to animal care organisations, such as the SPCA Garden Route, the principle benefactor of another UGR event, the Paws Run. A comprehensive list of the club's charitable giving can be viewed at www. whalerally.info

This year UGR is supporting Noeline's Food Kitchen, Little Angels crèche, Asia (MSB), the ACVV (in terms of care for the adult disabled) and the Garden Route SPCA.

UGR appeals to you and / or your company to donate or sponsor a prize for the Whale Rally. "We will make every effort to publicise your contribution, including on our website," the club spokesperson says.

"Should you opt to give us a sponsorship your company will be added to our sponsorship list on our website."

Cash deposits may be made directly to the bank account, Ulysses Garden Route, ABSA account: 9175765188. "Kindly supply a name and your telephone number so we can acknowledge your contribution."

For more information contact UGR public relations officer Paul Erasmus (wanadoo57cc@ telkomsa.net or 082 697 3388).
