MOVIES AT THE MONROE

Next week Thursday, 19 April at 18:30 the Monroe Theatre screens the epic, Exodus. This is the story of the formation of the state, Israel, in 1948 resulting in war with its Arab neighbours. Kick off the weekend on Friday, 20 April at 17:00 with Meet me in St Louis. Judy Garland stars in this multiple Oscar winner. BASAAR BY BENEVOLENT PARK
Benevolent Park hou hulle jaarlikse basaar op Saterdag, 14 April. Die geleentheid begin om 08:30. Daar is braaivleis, kerrieafval, kerrievis en vetkoek, witolifant-tafel en ook unieke items beskikbaar by die naaldwerktafel.

ST THOMAS HOSTS 'FALL' BAZAAR
St Thomas Catholic Church will be hosting a 'Fall' Bazaar on Saturday, 28 April at 10:00 at 28 Marsh Street, Mossel Bay to raise funds for the maintenance of the beautiful church. There will be many bargains: clothing, books, white elephant treasures, cakes, puddings, hotdogs, kids' entertainment and much, much more. Entry is free and everyone is welcome. NG GEMEENTE GROOT-BRAKRIVIER HOU DANKFEES
Die gemeente van die NG Kerk GrootBrakrivier hou hul dankfees op Saterdag, 5 Mei in die kerksaal. Van vroeg af sal daar pannekoek, poeding en ander gebak te koop wees. Daar is baie te eet soos heerlike kerrie en rys, jafels, worsbroodjies, lewerkoekies, hoendersosaties, ensomeer. Moenie die groentetafel, vleistafel en witolifant-tafel mis nie. MUSIC AND DANCE
Dance Dimensions hosts an evening of music and dance on Saturday, 2 June in the Mossel Bay Town Hall with entertainment by the N2 dance band from Cape Town. Tickets cost R150 per person. Hartenbos Boeremark met meer as 80 uitstallers, se volgende mark is op 14 April. Dit begin om 08:00 tot 14:00 en vind by die Carney-gebou op Hartenbos plaas. Daar is smullekker eetgoed en interessante arts and crafts-stalletjies sowel as ‘n witolifanttafel met meer as 30 tafels vol iets van als en als van iets. Vriendelike uitstallers en jolige musiek.
