Unmask your love for animals
The Mossel Bay Advertiser spotted Johan Bouwer at the Langeberg Mall sporting the most delightful face mask.
Bouwer lives in Reebok and told the Advertiser he bought the mask in support of the SPCA.
"I bought it to help raise funds for animal food." The masks are selling at R50. The Mossel Bay branch of the Garden Route SPCA is in dire need of pet food. "Times are really tough currently, therefore pet food and blankets are needed," says Gerda Reynders, branch manager.
Reynders encouraged locals to get their face masks at the SPCA during office hours, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00, and Saturdays, from 09:00 to 11:00.
"It is best to order yours in advance. They are quite popular," says Reynders.
